This week we wanted to highlight and send a big THANK YOU to Northwest Farm Credit Services for being an MVP sponsor for the second year in a row! Last year, NWFCS not only sponsored but also engaged their employees got into the Food Fight team with a Grizzly vs Bobcat team! The competition was fierce until the very end. They have already raised 30,000 meals, we are looking forward to seeing these 2 teams come alive again!
And we are off! Another great season is here and it is time to Feed Montana!
The Montana Food Bank Network along with the University of Montana and NorthWest Farm Credit Services come together again to engage Montana businesses and community organizations to Feed Montana.
This seven week fundraising campaign focuses on raising awareness and funds for the 1 in 7 people living in Montana that are struggling to put food on their table. Our goal is to raise 200,000 meals by October 31st.
How are we going to achieve this lofty and audacious goal? With a Food Fight! Not a literal food fight (because that would be stepping backwards to meeting our goal), but a virtual food fight between businesses and organizations throughout our great state that don't mind rolling up their sleeves, putting the creativity cap on and stepping out in their community.
It is not too late! YOU can sign up a team and join our community to Feed Montana!
Some teams are selling shirts, others are holding a Radio-A-Thon. Some are strapping on their skates, others are collecting food. We have hundreds of ideas! We just need you to help us connect the pieces! It is Montana communities coming together to support the community of Montana. Want some more ideas? Here is our Food Fight Tips & Tricks!
